Precision AirConvey, demonstrating its commitment to the community of New Castle County, Delaware, was a proud sponsor of Padua Academy’s 6th Annual Dinner in Honor of Women’s Achievement in April, 2015.
Located in Wilmington, Padua Academy is a private college preparatory school for young women. The school is renowned for its emphasis on technology education, with students and staff continually piloting new digital tools and software.
Recognizing the importance of preparing young students for the growing number of engineering and technology careers in the U.S., Precision AirConvey financially supported Padua’s 2015 Gala. Held at the Chase Center on the Waterfront in Wilmington, the event honored former supermodel-turned-CEO Kathy Ireland.
After gracing the pages of 13 consecutive Sports Illustrated swimsuit editions, Ireland founded and grew Kathy Ireland Worldwide (kiWW), a design and marketing firm that grosses more than $2.2 billion in annual sales. Ireland is also a noted social activist against the exploitation of children in human trafficking, and a global philanthropist for Christian-based education.
Former honorees at the gala include former United States Ambassador Mary Ann Glendon, New York Times best-selling author Liz Murray, former First Lady of the United States Laura Bush, and the inspirational subject of “The Blind Side,” Leigh Anne Tuohy.
Precision AirConvey proudly supported Padua and its gala with the placement of the following advertisement in the gala’s program guide. We look forward to developing a further relationship with the academy in the future.
