Job Summary
Compiles, classifies, records, verifies, and maintains data and payments to accounts payable and receivable records, keeps records of financial transactions, applies principles of accounting to analyze financial information and prepares financial reports by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Manage all PAC bank accounts and make appropriate bank transfers, etc.
Reviews and posts receipts and payments to appropriate ledgers, spreadsheets, records, and databases.
Manage all deposit invoices to customers from time of invoicing to time job is released for shipment, including reaching out to the customer if necessary.
Prepares accounts payable checks and ACH payments for signature and approval by authorized person.
Investigates problems that vendors or purchasing agents have with obtaining payment for bills.
Manages accounts payable and receivable to ensure payments are accurate and timely and uses data to forecast cash flow.
Research and process returns, refunds, freight charges, bad checks, and similar items.
Manage system for tracking and payment of commissions to field sales representatives and Regional Sales Managers or others as required.
Produces reports to show statistics such as accounts payable and receivable, profit and loss and other items pertinent to the operation of the business.
Manages monthly and annual closing. Produces documents and reports for accounting firm for year-end review.
Manage continued implementation of sales tax collection and reporting for all necessary states.
Participate in upcoming ERP transition.

Education and/or Experience
Associate’s degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; 6+ years of bookkeeping experience.
